HOW TO GROW YOUR SEEDS
we find for best results that you will need a small flat tray approximately 20 cm x 30cm with drainage holes and a catch tray underneath/alternatively you can use an old egg carton on a plate for fun with the kids. You will then need some grow medium this can be soil ,coco, coco matting or a hydroponic tray with seed matting Fill your tray to just below the top and press down making sure the surface is even Spay your medium Now the fun part spread your seeds evenly over your medium Spray your seeds and medium so that the medium is damp do not over soak the medium Now for best results place a tray on top and place some weight on it and leave for the required blackout time checking daily , spray if required , do not over waterOnce the blackout period is over remove the weight and top tray and place on windowsill or under lights When plants have their first two leaves or are approx 7-10 cm tall they are ready for harvest normally within 10-14 days from start to finish
If using an egg carton for cress simply place some kitchen roll inside the carton spread seeds evenly and spray with water and simply wait, watering when needed usually within 7-10 days of sowing
